Introduction to Wellness

Some people think that wellness is meditating, doing yoga, exercising, getting enough sleep, hanging out with friends, having hobbies and so on. Wellness can encompass these tools, but wellness is a way of life that starts with self-care and a good relationship with yourself that translates into good relationships with others. 

Self-care requires new ways of thinking and new habits, which may not initially be easy to implement especially since many of us have been trained and rewarded in the past for putting others first, but truly you cannot help anyone else unless you prioritize yourself first. You can use some of the information here at your discretion down your journey toward wellness.
